RR10 Race 6 - Ladies lead the way

Race 6 of the RR10 series moved on to the lovely surrounding countryside of Marwell Zoo.
England Masters International Sarah Winstone continued her fantastic winning streak with her 4th win in the series and a step closer in her quest for the overall title.
With Amanda Miles 7th, Alice Burch 8th, Gisela Hoppe 15th, Hannah Willson 44th, newcomers Grace Aslin and Kaytlin Roberts 119th & 120th respectively and Mirella Spalluto 175th the Ladies continue to dominate team proceedings with their unbeaten record still intact to make it a very impressive 5 wins from 5.
Along with Sarah, Alice (W40) & Gisela (W50) also continue to top their respective Individual age category leaderboards while both W40’s Amanda and Hannah improved their individual league positions.
The Men finished a very respectable 7th on the night considering all but one of the team is 45 years or over, moving them up one place to 8th in the overall league table
Emlyn Hughes (M45) 22nd, led the team home with M50’s James Smith and Mark Lown close behind in 29th & 33rd respectively.
Our youngest team member Oliver Johnson again ran well for 41st place and Alex Webb (M40) had his first race for a long while after long term injury to finish 58th.
Matthew Crocker (M50) led the B team home finishing 82nd with Clint Whitfield (M50) 159th, Jon Ward (M50) 163rd, Tom Hearn (M50) 199th, Chris Hibberd (M70) 230th, Peter Haynes (M75) 268th, Marc Holmes (M40) 273rd.
Well done!
