During 2019 Southampton Athletic Club worked closely with Solent University to help them gain a University Bronze Charter Marker.
We’re working to continue our relationship with Solent University to explore how we can work together to provide our athletes, coaches, volunteers and parents with the latest support and advice from a top sporting university.
Itchen Sixth Form College
Itchen College is one of only three colleges in England who run a dedicated athletics programme which fully supports high performing athletes. They receive 6 hours a week which is built into their timetable of dedicated coaching which includes strength & conditioning, recovery and a free weekly sports massage as well as time at the track.
