RR 10 Ampfield Wood Wednesday 11 June 2025     Start 19:00

Halterworth Harriers, Solent Running Sisters and Wessex Road Runners look forward to seeing you for the 5 th event in the 2025 RR10 series.

How to get there: ● From the south leave the M3 at junction 12, through Otterbourne then left at the mini roundabout which after 2 miles brings you opposite the entrance ● For the car park head for the southern entrance to IBM in Hursley. The car park is at the South Car Park which is the one we use for the RR10 in August. Do allow around 15 minutes to walk from the car park to the race village area ● Please try and car share.

There are no toilet facilities. The school and surrounding grounds are out of bounds to competitors. Please respect this as we rely on good relations with the school to keep this event going. The finish area is on a public right of way. Please put your club sails, tents etc.to the right hand side of the main path in the marked areas.

Water will be available, do bring your own drinking vessels.

Ampfield Wood is also open to the public, please respect other users of the paths during the race.

Don’t forget to register your park run ID on the RR10 website rr10.org.uk/register.html and bring your barcode with you.

Do arrive in good time, There will be a 10 minute walk to the start. On the way to the start please don't enter the fields on your left as there is a grass seed crop and an environmental habitat scheme. Please observe this strictly as again we rely on good relations with Home Farm. 

The course length is approximately 5 miles. It is run on grass tracks and gravel tracks which are open to the public and are especially uneven on the approach to the finish line. There is also some debris on the path from recent tree felling at Ampfield Wood.
