ESAA Parade of Champions 1925 - 2025

2025 is the Centenary year of the English Schools Athletic Association.

Founded in 1925 the ESAA has been a cornerstone of athletics in England

providing hundreds of thousands of young people the chance to compete in

the largest annual athletic even staged.

Are you one of our former Track and Field Champions?

If you are the ESAA would like to invite you to attend our championships on Saturday

12th July as our guest for the day and watch the championships at the Alexander

Stadium, Birmingham and to be part of the “Grand Parade of the Athletes” where

you can walk with the athletes of your County bringing together the past and the

present in celebration of 100 years of Schools’ Athletics.

Would you like to take part in the Parade of Champions?

You will need to apply with the following information:

Name, County represented, Year/s and Event

Remember this is an opportunity only available for Gold medallist only – our

Champions from 1925-2025 and we hope it will be the chance to meet old friends and

share your memories of the ESAA past and present.

ESAA will provide an entry ticket and refreshments to Our Centenary Champions for the

Saturday of the English Schools Track and Field Championships. There will also be a reception

event for our guests on the day. This event will be the centrepiece of the celebration of our 100

years providing athletic opportunities for young people across England.

Sadly, as we are without a main sponsor we are unable pay for or subsidise travel or other costs

associated with your participation at this event. If you wish to be accompanied by others they

will need to purchase a ticket via the event box office. We do hope that you understand, and

this will not put you off from attending or supporting this Centenary Celebration.
