CC6 Race 3 – Roundhill – Sunday 8th November 2026, starting at 9.30am.
Southampton Triathlon Club, Halterworth Harriers and Romsey Road Runners and welcome you to the third CC6 race of the season at Roundhill.
Parking and race HQ will be at Roundhill Campsite – Beaulieu Road, Brockenhurst, SO42 7QL. What3Words is///guardian.collected.orange
Forestry England ask us to limit car use. Please car share, travel by public transport, cycle, run or walk to the event if possible. The nearest railway station is Brockenhurst, approx. 4km away. If you need to drive, parking will be strictly at the campsite. The car park will open for runners at 8.15am. On arrival at the campsite, please follow the marshals’ directions to our designated car parking area which is on the far side of the campsite from the entrance. Please only park in this area and do not block any tracks or entrances within the campsite.
There will be an area at the campsite designated for tents and flags. Toilets will also be available at the campsite. Please note that the race start is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the car park, so please arrive in good time. There is also a road to cross on the way to the start, so please take care crossing over. There will be marshalls in place at the crossing.
This event takes place on Remembrance Sunday. We will be having a minute’s silence before the race start to remember all victims of conflict.
The course is the same as last year and is about 7km long. The course forms mainly a figure-of-eight circuit, with a clockwise loop followed by an anti-clockwise loop. The majority of the course comprises gravel tracks, but there is a short section on grassy tracks that can be very muddy (depending on how much rain we get). The course is mostly flat, with a short downhill section at the start and an uphill finish. Trail shoes are recommended. There will be marshals on the course to direct you. Please follow the marshals’ instructions at all times.

The route is also open to the general public, so please be courteous to any others using the tracks, such as dog-walkers, pedestrians and cyclists. As the route is in the forest, there may also be horses and other animals out on the course outside of our control. Please note that it is also possible that authorised motor vehicles may occasionally access some of the larger tracks, as was the case last year. If this happens please give way to such vehicles and keep to the side of the tracks to allow them to pass.
As usual, we will be giving out barcode tokens at the finish. Scanning will be done at the race finish, not at the campsite, so please make sure that you have your parkrun barcode with you when you run.
There will be cakes available after the race. However, please bring your own water/cups. There will be a limited supply of water provided if required.
Spectators are very welcome, including their dogs, though please ensure that owners clear up after their dogs. Please do not feed or pet the ponies and donkeys - this is both dangerous for you and dangerous for them. Please follow the New Forest Code at all times: https://www.forestryengland.
The car park will be locked at 11.30am. If you wish to remain in the forest after the race, please ensure that your car is moved to another car park and that you pay for parking.
