British Masters Medals at 5K Road Championships - Battersea Park

This year’s BMAF 5K Road Championships at Battersea Park produced more medals for our SAC Masters athletes. 

M35 Matt Revier (15:05), M45 Sebastian Hoenig (15:54) and W35 Sarah Winstone (17:31) all won individual Silver in their respective age categories. 

Good packing behind Matt from Matt Coffey just missing individual Bronze in his M40 category by 5sec finishing 4th, (16:27) and M40 Andy Lewis 8th (17:11) they won M35-44 Team Gold by nearly 2mins.

Such was Seb’s run finishing 8th Overall, he smashed the M45 Club Record by over a minute.

With M45 Daniel Hunt (17:27) and M60 Peter Costley dropping down age categories running his fastest time for a year it wasn’t quite enough for Team Bronze but just 14sec shy for 4th place.
