In need of a stunning Spring challenge or a great view on your last long before your taper? The Combe Gibbet to Overton Race on the 7th April is ideal for both
The Combe Gibbet is a stunning and challenging 16 mile cross country race through the beautiful Berkshire and Hampshire countryside.  It's an ideal race to prepare for the spring marathon season and for people looking to do half and full Ironman triathlons in the summer.

The race starts at 14.00 on Sunday 7th April 2024 from Combe Gibbet and finishes in Overton. Your race entry includes:A bus ride from Overton to the start at Combe Gibbet (departing at 12.45) The transportation of your kit back to the finish where shower and changing facilities are availableAll road crossings professionally traffic managed  As we are all aware costs are only going one way but as we are a club run race we have managed to avoid any increases in the entry fees and they remain at £24 for affiliated runners and £26 for non-affiliated runners.

We have also decided to not include finisher medals this year, instead Overton Harriers will donate the budget for medals plus a proportion of the race profits to the local foodbanks at Basingstoke and Andover. This means we will be donating at least £500 across the two but hopefully a lot more if the race sells out. While everyone loves a good medal it doesn't feel right to spending money on something where the manufacturing and transport has an impact on the environment when there is a much higher volume of local people in need of help at the moment.

The full race details will be published on the club website in early March, until then all race updates and information is available here
