11:00 a.m. - U15/U17 5k Road Champs

First three Individuals and first three teams (three to score) per age group to cross the line will be eligible for age group individual / team medals 

Entry Fee: £8 per athlete. 

12:00 p.m. - Southern Men's 12 stage

Consists of 6 Stages of 4.8km and 6 stages of 7.2km on traffic free roadways.

Entry Fee: £75 per team.

1:00 p.m. - Southern Women's 6 stage

Consists of 4 stages of 4.8km and 2 stages of 7.2km on traffic free roadways.

The second and fourth legs are long.

Entry Fee: £39 per team.

Clubs may enter extra teams.

A club entering more than one team may select its teams from its total list of entrants. For example, a club entering 2 men’s teams can submit up to 36 names (18 for 2 women’s teams) and select both teams from that list.

Teams must run in the order declared or face disqualification. No runner is permitted to run more than one leg.

Because of the duration of the race, timing by officials will be limited to a maximum of five hours.

At the referee’s discretion there will be a mass start for all athletes who have not commenced their leg at approximately 4.30pm.

THE SMALL PRINT

AGE GROUPS

In accordance with UKA RULE T3 S3 a Senior is a competitor

who is aged at least 20 years on the 31st August 2023.

U20s may compete if they are at least 17 on 31st August 2023.

U17s must be at least 15 years old on 31st August 2023.

U15s must be at least 13 years old on 31st August 2023.

OTHER

Failure to provide the England Athletics URN for athletes will result in your entry being returned.

All competing athletes must be registered with their club via England Athletics and clubs affiliated to the SEAA. Providing false or misleading information may render the Club and/or Athlete liable to disqualification. All team runners must wear the same design of registered Club vest and colours. Any advertising or sponsorship must comply with UKA Rule T5 S1.
