who we are?

The Gosport entry list has highlighted the perennial problem of who we are. A couple of years ago our club was deprived of a first team prize in a major race because of a technicality as the word Southampton on an entry form was misspelt. By extension if our team name is entered wrongly there are pedants out there as well as a reliance on computer software that cannot always tie up results correctly so it may well happen again in the future . Please enter races with the name that is the heading on the main club page SOUTHAMPTON ATHLETIC CLUB. Anything else is wrong including Southamptons red and white army!
