Oli runs the race of his life

Oli Bromby ran a new liftetime best of 10.37 secs to finish 3rd in his semi-final of the mens 100m at the junior world championships in Poland this evening. Going into the race as 7th fastest, Oli finsihed 3rd in a new persoanl best time just behind Derick Silva of Brazil who was also given the same time. To compound matters, teammate Rechmial Miller also finished 3rd in 10.37 secs in the 3rd semi-final meaning the 2nd fastest losers spot had to be decided by thousands rather than hundreds of a second with Oli just missing out on a place in the final. Oli can nevertheless be satisfied with another great performance at a mojor championships and look forward to Friday's heats of the 4 x 100m quite literally in the form of his life.
