Adams, Holt, Cowell & Bass-Cooper all make BUCS indoor championships finals.

10 Southampton AC athletes were in action in the British Universities & Colleges indoor championships in Sheffield over the last 3 days.This is a huge National championship event and it was good to see Sean Adams, Niall Holt, Emma Cowell & Sam Bass-Cooper reach the finals of their respective events. Sean was 5th in the final of the mens 400m after coming through both heats and semi's, likewise Niall Holt who came an impressive 6th in the mens 1500m final.  Emma Cowell made the high jump final and Sam Bass-Cooper was 6th in the pole vault final recording a seasons best jump of 4.50m. in addition, John Coyle come through his heat to make a semi-final of the mens 200m finishing 3rd.  Laura Seaman was 5th in her 200m heat, Ibegbunam Badpipe was 4th in his 400m heat, Calum Bressington 2nd in his 400m heat, David Fisher 4th in his 800m heat and Chris Hilton 6th in his 3000m heat.
