Zak takes schools Inter-counties title

Another week, another cross country title for those Mahamed boys and yesterday it was the turn of Zak who won the junior boys South East England schools inter-county title at a snowy Reigate in Surrey. For schools cross country, the age groups are alternate years to those for club athletics so Zak is top of the Junior boys age group for those in school years 8 & 9.  In the same race Max Satterly was an impressive 14th.  For the Senior boys, brother Mo was beaten was the first time this season with Aldershot's Nathan Gibson putting 14 seconds between them meaning Mo was 2nd on the day.  Lucas Clements was 15th.  In the Inter boys age group,  Sam Costley and Luke Powell were 16th & 17th respectively with just 8 seconds separating them. For the Senior girls, just a second separated Anna sharp in 21st place and Alana Spiers in 22nd.  In the Inter girls Hannah Polden was 70th.  In the junior girls race, Isabel Richardson was 26th with Poppy Wright just behind in 29th.
