Brenton shines as Inter-counties matches begin with Seniors

The series of regional inter-counties matches take place over the next 4 weeks beginning with the Seniors Southern counties match in Mile End yesterday.  Many of the clubs athletes will be representing Hampshire over various age groups. Laura Brenton ran a pb of just over 4.33 mins to come 2nd in the a string womens 1500m.  Joe Wales was 6th in the A string mens 800m and Anna Stevens was 6th in b string shot, 8th in a string discus, 6th in b string Hammer and 8th in A string javelin.
