Back the Track Update

Since the launch of the Back the Track campaign, we have had some very positive meetings with Southampton City Council, Active Nation and Sport Solent where we have been able to outline our requirements and proposals in detail.  Everyone has confirmed that the track is central to any improvement of the Outdoor Sports Centre and that it is a priority to improve the track facilities.  The council share our belief that the best way to achieve this is through the renovation of Block 2 but cannot confirm their support until a Feasibility Study, which they are currently having costed, is carried out. We feel unable to ask you to start raising money for this renovation until the council have fully committed to a plan but we are doing everything we can to speed up the process and are positive about being able to move to the next phase of our campaign soon. Please keep spreading the word about the poor track facilities to anyone and everyone. #BacktheTrack
